Town of Zebulon – Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule Town of Zebulon offices and facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, in observance of Thanksgiving. Solid Waste Services: GFL will collect the trash and recycling carts on Saturday this week. There will be no bulk pickup this week. Yard waste and leaf collections will be completed by Wednesday. Public Works & Town Facilities: Public Works and all Town administrative offices will be closed Nov. 27–28. Regular operations resume Monday, Dec. 1. Parks & Recreation: Town parks will remain open during regular hours. Parks & Recreation administrative offices will be closed November 27–28. Police & Fire Services: Zebulon Police and Fire remain fully staffed and operational throughout the holiday. Emergencies: Dial 911 Water & Sewer: For water or sewer issues, the City of Raleigh manages water & sewer for the Town of Zebulon, and their customer service number is 919-996-3245. 🚨 Candy Cane Lane Traffic and Street Closure Alert Several downtown Zebulon streets will close at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, for the Town’s annual Candy Cane Lane event. Drivers should use caution and plan alternate routes. Three maps are attached to this post to help visitors plan their arrival and parking. Candy Cane Lane will take place 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday in downtown Zebulon. The official tree lighting is scheduled for 6 p.m. The attached maps include: • Candy Cane Lane event map • Trolley route map • Street closure map Parking: Overflow parking will be available at Zebulon Community Park. The park is a short 3-minute walk to the event area. A handicap-accessible trolley will run throughout the evening. Event Details: • Event time: 4–8 p.m. • Trolley service: 3:30–8:30 p.m. • Tree lighting: 6 p.m. Residents and visitors are encouraged to dress warmly, expect increased foot traffic and enjoy an evening of holiday activities in downtown Zebulon.

Earlier this week, Town of Zebulon staff came together for our annual Wellness & Safety Fair. It was a meaningful afternoon focused on wellness, safety, and supporting one another. Staff took part in hands-on safety simulators, explored valuable benefit resources from our providers, and enjoyed lunch from the Atlas Nomads food truck. It was a great opportunity to learn, recharge, and connect with colleagues. A big thank you to our partners BCBS, Delta Dental, Superior Vision, Empower Retirement, EAP, Winding Stream Massage and Therapeutics, and WakeMed for being part of this year’s event.
